JAMMU: In a significant move to minimise train delays caused by dense fog during the winter season and to enhance passenger convenience, the Jammu Division of Northern Railway has introduced the facility of “scratch rakes” or additional rakes to ensure timely train operations. Under this initiative, additional rakes have been arranged for Train No. 12414 (Jammu Tawi–Ajmer) and Train No. 22478/22477 (Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra–New Delhi–Katra).
