JAMMU: Shallu Verma, Hindi Teacher in the Primary Wing of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu, was felicitated at a Teacher Felicitation Ceremony organised by Madhuban Prakashan in New Delhi on the occasion of Hindi Diwas, recognising her contribution to Hindi language education and her dedicated service as an educator.
The ceremony brought together teachers from different parts of the country to honour their commitment to Hindi language, literature and education. The event was attended by Delhi Government Minister Kapil Mishra, senior journalist and news anchor Chitra Tripathi, writer and media professional Jayanti Ranganathan, and master storyteller and founder of Kathashala Simmi Srivastava.
A key feature of the programme was a discussion on “Hindi in the Age of AI: Challenges and Possibilities,” which examined the changing role of Hindi in the digital era and the opportunities offered by technology and Artificial Intelligence to strengthen the language and expand its reach.
Teachers from various states were felicitated for their exemplary contributions to Hindi language, literature and education. The ceremony also highlighted the role of educators in nurturing linguistic and cultural values among young learners.
