KISHTWAR: Chenab Valley Power Projects Limited (CVPPL) has commenced stringing works for the transmission system designed to evacuate power from the Pakal Dul, Kiru and Kwar hydroelectric projects, marking a major milestone in project execution. The stringing activity began on January 13, 2026, for the 400 kV Double Circuit (Triple HTLS Conductor) transmission line from the Pot Head Yard of Kiru Hydroelectric Project to the Kishtwar Pooling Station.
