KATHUA: Police have arrested two interstate drug suppliers and established their backward linkages in connection with a narcotics smuggling case in Kathua district, taking the total recovery of heroin-like substance in the case to 515 grams, officials said on Thursday. The case was registered at Police Station Billawar, where police had earlier recovered 435 grams of heroin-like substance during the course of investigation. CHANDIGARH: Punjab Police on Thursday said it busted an illegal arms supply network in Amritsar with the arrest of three persons and the recovery of two AK-47 assault rifles. Additionally, 3 magazines and 50 live cartridges were also recovered from their possession, Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said.
