JAMMU: General Officer Commanding (GOC), White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra on Thursday visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Rajouri sector to review operational preparedness and assess the prevailing security situation, officials said.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the prevailing security environment, counter-infiltration measures and the surveillance grid in the sector. He was also apprised of various initiatives being undertaken to further strengthen operational effectiveness and responsiveness.
Lieutenant General P K Mishra commended the troops for maintaining a high state of readiness, vigilance and commitment while operating in challenging conditions along the LoC.
The GOC exhorted all ranks to remain steadfast and maintain the highest standards of operational preparedness and responsiveness to effectively meet emerging security challenges in the sector.
