MUMBAI: Jio Finance Platform and Service Limited (JFPSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jio Financial Services Limited (JFSL), on Thursday announced the launch of JioFinance+ and JioFinance360 on the JioFinance app, introducing a combination of personalised financial insights and value-back benefits aimed at helping customers improve their financial well-being.
JioFinance+ is positioned as a first-of-its-kind membership programme offering benefits across eligible financial products available on the JioFinance marketplace. Under its value-back model, a portion of the platform commission earned on eligible marketplace transactions is shared with customers as direct benefits.
As an introductory offer, JioFinance+ will be available complimentary for the first 365 days. Benefits include cash value-back of up to ₹5,000 on personal loans and up to ₹1,000 on credit cards, an additional 1 per cent JioGold on eligible lump-sum purchases of ₹2,500 and above, and 25 per cent extra JioPoints across eligible platform transactions.
The second offering, JioFinance360, is designed as a personalised financial health assessment platform that brings together information from multiple sources, including assets and liabilities, into a single financial report. According to the company, the service uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to summarise fragmented financial information along with an intelligent rule-based insight engine to provide personalised and actionable recommendations.
At the core of JioFinance360 is a personalised Financial Health Score ranging from 0 to 100, calculated across five key areas—spending, borrowing, wealth, protection and insurance, and tax. The spending assessment considers cash flow, the spend-to-income ratio, emergency fund buffers and savings consistency, while also identifying changes in spending patterns, hidden charges and recurring subscriptions.
The borrowing component tracks monthly fixed obligations and credit-score trends, while the wealth assessment evaluates investment ratios and portfolio quality, including performance, costs and asset allocation. The platform can also flag issues such as overlapping mutual fund holdings or a declining investment rate.
The protection and insurance assessment is designed to evaluate insurance adequacy and identify potential gaps in life and health coverage, while the tax component tracks filing status and highlights potentially unused tax-saving opportunities.
Commenting on the launch, Surbhe S Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, Jio Finance Platform and Service Limited, said the two initiatives represented an important step in the company’s mission to expand access to intelligent financial services. He said JioFinance+ would share a portion of platform commission revenue with customers as value-back on eligible transactions, while JioFinance360 would provide users with a detailed view of their financial health and encourage steps towards long-term economic well-being.
JFPSL said JioFinance serves as a unified digital storefront for retail-focused financial products and services. The app provides access to offerings including loans, savings accounts, investment products, UPI, bill payments, recharges, digital insurance and financial tracking and management tools.
