KUPWARA: On the second day of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, the District Administration Kupwara organized a series of patriotic and awareness activities across schools, colleges and blocks of the district, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, officials, security personnel and the public.
As part of the celebrations, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Suse, led a Tiranga Rally at Haftrada village in Tarathpora block. The rally saw enthusiastic participation from senior officers of the district administration, Army personnel and a large number of local population
Meanwhile, a district-level quiz competition was organized at Town Hall Kupwara in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kupwara, Gulzar Ahmad Khan, with around 350 students participating enthusiastically. The competition covered themes related to India’s history, freedom struggle, national symbols and the country’s rich heritage.
Interacting with the participating students, the ADC appreciated their enthusiasm and encouraged greater participation of youth in national campaigns and activities promoting unity, integrity and patriotism.
In addition, Tiranga rallies, marathons, quiz competitions and singing competitions were organized at various educational institutions and blocks across the district. Students, teachers, officials and local residents participated with enthusiasm, turning the campaign into a vibrant public outreach initiative.
The District Administration has called upon the people of Kupwara to participate wholeheartedly in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, hoist the Tricolour at their homes and join the various activities being organized across the district.
The celebrations will continue with a range of public participation programmes and awareness activities aimed at strengthening the spirit of patriotism and reinforcing the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga.”
