MUMBAI: Reliance Jio on Monday announced the reintroduction of its Jio Prime Membership Programme, offering customers a one-year price guarantee on eligible tariff plans along with cashback vouchers and other exclusive benefits.
The programme, relaunched to mark 10 years of Jio, will allow members to continue recharging with their preferred eligible plans at prevailing prices until September 5, 2027, irrespective of any future tariff revisions during the guarantee period.
Jio said its existing tariff plans, including the ₹299 plan, would continue to remain available to all users. Customers seeking additional price certainty can opt for the new Jio Prime membership and protect today’s tariff rates for the specified period.
The Jio Prime membership will be available at a one-time joining fee of ₹300 to existing prepaid and postpaid customers. Users of other telecom networks can also enrol by porting their number to Jio or taking a new Jio connection.
As part of the membership benefits, customers will receive cashback vouchers worth ₹600. These include a ₹300 voucher redeemable on a new JioHome or JioPC connection and another ₹300 voucher for adding a new Jio SIM connection for friends or family.
Members will also receive early access to new Jio products, services and trials, besides priority customer support through a dedicated service channel. Jio said additional member-exclusive benefits could also be announced during the membership period.
The company said the original Jio Prime Membership Programme was launched as a gesture of gratitude towards its first 100 million customers. The relaunched programme is now aimed at providing price assurance and additional benefits to Jio’s user base of more than 500 million customers.
Customers will be able to join Jio Prime through the MyJio app, Jio.com, Jio Stores and authorised Jio partner stores.
