JAMMU: Little Flower Hr. Sec. School, Sector D, Sainik Colony, Jammu, celebrated Independence Day with patriotic fervour along with its Investiture Ceremony on Saturday.
The programme brought together members of the school community to commemorate the nation’s freedom and formally recognise the newly appointed student leaders.
The celebrations began with patriotic activities paying tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters and highlighting the values of unity, patriotism and responsibility.
During the Investiture Ceremony, the newly appointed Student Council formally assumed its responsibilities. Head Boy Aryan Singh and Head Girl Jyoti Sharma, along with other council members, were presented badges and pledged to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication and a sense of responsibility.
The ceremony was graced by Chairman Tarun Rattanpal, Principal Kusum Rattanpal and Coordinator Bharti Pandoh, who congratulated the student leaders and encouraged them to lead by example while upholding the values and traditions of the institution.
The combined celebration reflected the school’s emphasis on nurturing patriotism, leadership, discipline and responsible citizenship among students.
