JAMMU: Students of Heritage School delivered an exceptional performance at the State Level Painting Competition organized by NHPC Jammu on 22 November 2025.
The event, which witnessed participation from 100 talented young artists across Jammu & Kashmir, awarded a total of 26 prizes—making the competition both challenging and inspiring.
Ananya Chouhan of Class VII-E secured the 3rd Prize, earning a cash award of ₹20,000, along with an additional ₹2,000 for being placed among the Top 50 finalists, bringing her total winnings to ₹22,000. Ananya has also qualified to represent Jammu & Kashmir at the National Level Competition to be held in December 2025.
Sanvi Kundal of Class VIII-C bagged a Consolation Prize of ₹7,500, plus ₹2,000 for her Top 50 selection, taking her total to ₹9,500.
Devansh Bajaj of Class V-A was also recognised among the Top 50 young artists, receiving ₹2,000 as a cash reward.
Heritage School proudly acknowledged the contribution of its Art Teacher, Surinder Kumar, who was honoured with an Appreciation Memento and Certificate for his dedicated mentoring and constant encouragement to the budding artists.
The school extended warm congratulations to all the winners for their remarkable achievements and conveyed its best wishes to Ananya Chouhan as she prepares to compete at the national level.
