JAMMU: The Heritage School organised the Third Edition of its Annual Inter-House Quiz Competition on Tuesday, an exhilarating and intellectually stimulating event that celebrated the spirit of inquiry, teamwork, and academic excellence among students.
The event was graced by Sunil Gupta, Chairman, Heritage School, as the Chief Guest, who inaugurated the competition with an insightful question, setting an inspiring tone for the proceedings. Participants had qualified through a rigorous written round, ensuring a high standard of competition.
Representing the four school houses, the finalist teams engaged in a fierce battle of wits across four exciting rounds—General Knowledge, Business Quiz, Bollywood/Hollywood Quiz, and the Buzzer Round. The quiz covered a wide spectrum of topics, including current affairs, economics, science, politics, sports, and cinema. Audience interaction segments added a lively dimension to the event, keeping the atmosphere vibrant and participative.
After a thrilling contest, Tradition House emerged as the Champion Team, comprising Vivek Singh Sudan (XII C), Archit Mahajan (XI C), Kuvwan (X B), and Vedant Sharma (XI B). Dignity House secured the Runner-Up position, represented by Krishang Mahajan (XII C), Medhaansh Sharma (X C), Ahana Mahajan (IX D), and Avya Kapoor (IX A).
Principal Akash Pradhan congratulated the winners and commended all participants for their enthusiasm, confidence, and sportsmanship. He also lauded the dedicated efforts of Ajeet Bali, Sugandh Gupta, and the organising committee for their meticulous planning and flawless execution, which ensured the success of the event.
The Annual Inter-House Quiz Competition once again proved to be a vibrant platform for young minds to showcase their intellectual prowess, reaffirming Heritage School’s commitment to nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.
