NEW DELHI: Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam, in which two labourers working at a brick kiln were killed, calling the incident “shameful” and “inhumane”.
In a post on X, the Wayanad MP said, “The cowardly terrorist attack that took place in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, is extremely shameful and reprehensible. Identifying and killing two laborers working at a brick kiln is an utterly loathsome and inhumane act. No amount of condemnation for this can ever be enough.”
Expressing solidarity with the families of the victims, Priyanka Gandhi said, “The entire nation’s sympathies are with the affected families.”
The Congress MP also called for swift action against those responsible.
“Swift action must be taken in the matter, and the terrorists should be given the harshest of harsh punishments,” she said.
