RAMBAN: District Development Commissioner Ramban, Mohd Alyas Khan today launched the SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ramban Annual Activity Report 2025–26 in his office chamber.
The Annual Activity Report highlights the Institute’s achievements during the financial year 2025–26 including skill development programmes, entrepreneurship training, women empowerment initiatives, credit linkage efforts, capacity-building activities, follow-up support and success stories of rural entrepreneurs who established self-employment ventures after training.
The District Development Commissioner appreciated the role of SBI RSETI Ramban and said entrepreneurship and skill-based training are vital for generating employment, encouraging self-reliance and accelerating inclusive rural development.
Director SBI RSETI Ramban Harvinder Singh thanked the District Administration, State Bank of India, sponsoring agencies and line departments for their continued support. He said the Institute provides free residential skill training, entrepreneurship development, mentoring, handholding support and post-training assistance to unemployed rural youth, and works closely with banks and government departments to facilitate credit linkage and ensure sustainable livelihoods.
