POONCH: Two day training programme for officials deployed for Census 2027 phase-II – enumeration of population in snow bound areas, began here under the guidance and supervision of Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma.
The training is being imparted to District Officers, Charge Census officers and other technical staff by the Master trainer(s) from Directorate of Census operations.
Under the phase II- the population Enumeration shall be conducted in 24 villages consisting of around 179 Enumeration Blocks.
The population Enumeration in Snow bound areas shall commence from 1st September 2026 and continue till 30th September 2026.
