KULGAM: A meeting of the Vidyalaya Management Committee (VMC) of Kendriya Vidyalaya Aminoo, Kulgam, was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam.
The meeting deliberated on various matters concerning the academic development of the Vidyalaya, students’ achievements, sports activities, overall institutional development, and financial and administrative affairs.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner appreciated the commendable performance of Kendriya Vidyalaya Aminoo in the academic sphere and congratulated the students and teachers for their achievements. He lauded the efforts of the Vidyalaya in providing quality education while nurturing discipline, creativity, leadership skills and self-confidence among students.
The Deputy Commissioner also commended the outstanding achievements of the students in sports and congratulated the students, coaches and teachers for their impressive performances. He observed that participation in sports is vital for the physical and mental well-being of students and contributes significantly to developing teamwork, discipline, leadership and a competitive spirit.
The members of the committee put forth valuable suggestions aimed at further strengthening the functioning and overall development of the Vidyalaya.
A detailed discussion was also held on the Vidyalaya’s budget, availability of funds under various heads and their judicious and effective utilisation. The committee reviewed the requirements of the institution, proposed expenditure and various activities planned for the welfare, development and holistic growth of students.
The meeting was attended by ADC Vikar Ahmad Giri, CPO Malik Suheel, CMO Showkat Ahmad Parrey, Kapil Singh, In-charge Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya Aminoo, Kulgam, besides other members of the committee.
