REASI: The monthly review of the Health Department Reasi was conducted today here at a meeting chaired by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Mohd. Yousaf Khan.
The meeting reviewed the progress of the National Health Programmes and other key health initiatives being implemented across the district.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital; all Block Medical Officers; District Programme Management Unit (DPMU); District ASHA Coordinator (DAC); all Block Programme Management Units (BPMUs); all Block ASHA Co-ordinators (BACs); STLS; STS; RMNCH+A Consultant; DEIC Manager. AM DH and DEO, DH along with other concerned officials attended the meeting.
The meeting assessed the progress achieved in the implementation of National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS), Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), promotion J&K SEHAT App, PM-ABHIM, Drug and Vaccine Distribution Management System (DVDMS), National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), Health Management Information System (HMIS), Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) and other ongoing health programmes.
Dr. M. Y. Khan reviewed the performance of all health institutions and emphasized the need for timely achievement of programme targets, improved service delivery and strict adherence to reporting timelines. He directed all Block Medical Officers to expedite pending activities under NQAS certification, strengthen implementation of ABDM and J&K SEHAT initiatives, ensure timely up-dation of data on HMIS and RCH portals, maintain adequate availability of drugs through DVDMS and closely monitor NCD-related services at all health facilities.
The Chair also stressed the importance of effective coordination among district and block-level teams, regular field monitoring, prompt resolution of implementation gaps and maintaining quality healthcare standards across all institutions.
The administrative and programme-specific issues were also discussed in detail and necessary directions were issued to the concerned officers for their timely compliance. The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to strengthen healthcare services and achieve the district’s health programme objectives effectively.
