JAMMU: Sparc FC emerged as the standout team on Day 2 of the Platinum 7v7 Girls League at the Home of Legends, registering two wins and asserting strong dominance in the competition.
Sparc FC began their campaign with an emphatic 6–0 victory over Onyx FC. Hari Priya and Shivali netted two goals each, while Neeta and Tajneet contributed one goal apiece. Continuing their winning momentum, Sparc FC went on to defeat Kaffberry FC 1–0, further consolidating their position in the league.
The fixtures between Platinum FC vs Kaffberry FC and Shivya A FC vs Phoenix FC both ended in goalless draws.
Phoenix FC claimed a 2–0 win over Onyx FC, with both goals scored by Tanzeel (Sonu).
The final match of the day between Platinum FC and Shivya A FC also concluded in a 0–0 draw, marked by a crucial moment when Platinum FC goalkeeper Adaah was shown a red card.
The Platinum Girls League continues to provide a platform for emerging women footballers from the region, promoting competitive, organised and grassroots-level football in Jammu.
