KATRA: District Police Reasi has intensified its crackdown on reckless stunt riding and traffic violations, following yet another case of life-threatening motorcycle stunts being performed on public roads.
Police received credible information that a youth, identified as Sachin Singh, S/o Late Mohinder Singh, R/o Aghar Jitto, Tehsil Katra, was performing dangerous stunts on a KTM Duke motorcycle in public areas. The bike was running without a registration number plate and was being driven in a rash and negligent manner, posing a serious threat to his life and the safety of commuters.
Preliminary inquiry further revealed that the accused had been circulating stunt videos on Instagram through the handle @sachin_stunzz, operated by him. The seized motorcycle has been verified with chassis number MD2JPEXE5LC002466.

Taking swift action, FIR No. 307/2025 has been registered at Police Station Katra under Sections 281 and 125 BNS and 184 MV Act. The motorcycle has been seized, and further legal proceedings are in progress.
The operation was led by SHO P/S Katra, Insp. Ranjeet Singh Rao, under the close supervision of SDPO Katra Dr. Bhishm Dubey, JKPS and SP Katra Vipan Chandran, JKPS.
SSP Reasi Paramvir Singh, JKPS appealed to citizens, especially the youth, to refrain from performing such stunts on public roads. He stressed that these activities are dangerous, illegal, and can lead to fatal consequences. Police urged the public to follow traffic rules and cooperate in maintaining road safety across the district.
