JAMMU: Martand Singh, Director of the Amar Singh Sports & Youth Initiative, on Wednesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and briefed him on a wide range of programmes being undertaken to promote sports development and youth empowerment across Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Martand Singh also apprised the Lieutenant Governor of the ongoing renovation and upgradation works at the Amar Mahal Museum, which are being carried out under the aegis of the Hari Tara Charitable Trust. He highlighted efforts aimed at preserving the region’s heritage while improving facilities and visitor experience.
The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the initiatives focused on nurturing young talent and conserving cultural heritage, and reiterated the administration’s support for programmes that contribute to sports promotion, youth welfare and heritage preservation in the Union Territory.
