LEH: General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps, Lt Gen Madanraj Pande, on Monday visited forward areas in the Union Territory of Ladakh to review the operational preparedness and combat readiness of deployed Army units.
During the visit, Lt Gen Pande assessed the operational readiness and sustainability of units operating in the challenging high-altitude terrain, the Army said.
The GOC also interacted with troops and commended them for maintaining a high level of operational preparedness. He exhorted all ranks to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, mission readiness and operational excellence.
The Fire and Fury Corps said the visit was aimed at strengthening operational readiness and ensuring that formations deployed in the strategically sensitive region remain prepared to meet emerging challenges.
