JAMMU: As part of continued security and area domination measures ahead of Independence Day, Jammu Police on Tuesday conducted a joint Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the jurisdiction of Police Station Nagrota.
Police said the operation was carried out by personnel of Police Station Nagrota along with 20 personnel of the 31st Battalion SSB, C Company, in the areas of Nagrota, Jagti and Panjgrain.
The operation began at 10 am and concluded at 2 pm.
Meanwhile, BPP Mallah carried out patrolling and area search and checking in Village Saryalla to maintain law and order and strengthen security in the area.
Police said nothing suspicious was found during the operations and the situation remained normal and peaceful.
Jammu Police said it remains committed to maintaining constant vigilance and strengthening the security grid, particularly in view of the forthcoming Independence Day celebrations.
