JAMMU: The Jammu & Kashmir Dharmarth Trust held an important meeting of its Trustees, Council members, and senior office bearers in Jammu on Tuesday, chaired by Dr. Karan Singh, Chairman Trustee of the Trust.
The meeting was attended by Trustees Vikramaditya Singh, Ajatshatru Singh, Martand Singh, and Ranvijay Singh.
During the session, Dr. P.S. Pathania, President of the Trust, presented a detailed overview of the renovation and restoration works undertaken across various temples in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting also saw in-depth discussions on the progress and future plans for the development of Sri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, Birpur, and the Ranbir Sanskrit Research Library.
The proposed budget for the financial year 2026–27 was also tabled by Dr. Pathania and deliberated upon by the Trustees and Council members.
Ashok Sharma, Secretary of the Trust, briefed the participants on ongoing employee welfare measures and key administrative reforms being implemented within the organization.
Chairman Trustee Dr. Karan Singh lauded the Trust’s consistent efforts, particularly in restoring temples damaged in regions such as Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Srinagar. He also stressed the need to further improve facilities and enhance the overall experience for devotees visiting Raghunath Temple and Ranbireshwar Temple in Jammu.
Council members present at the meeting included Pandit Vishwamurti Shastri, S.M. Sahni, Vishal Abrol, and Sunil Trakru, along with Additional Secretaries of the Trust.
