JAMMU: District Legal Services Authority, Jammu under the able guidance of Principal District & Sessions Judge / Chairman, DLSA Jammu Tahir Khurshid Raina and under the supervision of Civil Judge (Sr. Division) / Secretary, DLSA Maleeka Sharma, organised a meeting with the Judicial Officers of the District Court regarding Mediation Campaign 3.0 – Mediation for the Nation under the aegis of NALSA.
The meeting was chaired by the Principal District & Sessions Judge in his Office Chamber and attended by all the Judicial Officers of the District Court.
During the meeting, the Chairman dwelt in detail upon the Mediation Campaign 3.0. He laid emphasis on identifying referable cases for mediation and ensuring their maximum settlement. He also highlighted the need to generate awareness among litigants as well as members of the Bar regarding the benefits of mediation.
He further inspired all the Judicial Officers to work with utmost commitment and dedication to ensure the success of Mediation Campaign 3.0. He urged them to personally counsel the parties and apprise them of the advantages of mediation like expeditious resolution, economical process, confidentiality and maintenance of cordial relations.
