RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, has been awarded the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Commendation for his outstanding civil–military coordination and leadership during Operation Sindoor.
DySP Operations Shammi Kumar was also honoured with a COAS Commendation for his exemplary role during the operation, officials said.
The commendations recognise the officers’ professional excellence, dedication and effective coordination in ensuring the successful conduct of Operation Sindoor, reflecting strong synergy between civil administration and security forces.
