JAMMU: In a continued effort to reclaim government land from illegal encroachments, the Jammu Development Authority (JDA) today conducted a major anti-encroachment operation at Kore Jagir, Nagrota, successfully retrieving around 50 kanal of prime JDA land. During the operation, the enforcement team demolished three unauthorized structures and two plinths constructed illegally over Khasra No. 504. SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Police’s State Investigation Agency (SIA) on Wednesday carried out searches at multiple locations across the valley as part of its efforts to crack down on a sleeper cell module of terrorist organisations, officials said. REASI: Continuing its relentless drive against narcotics, Reasi Police achieved a major success when a team from Police Station Katra apprehended a notorious drug peddler near the Tarakote area.
