JAMMU: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated its annual event “विश्वं दीप्यमानम् – The Shining World”, themed around illumination, knowledge and the power of human potential.
The Primary Wing (Classes 1–5) led the grand cultural celebration, reflecting the institution’s commitment to holistic learning and nurturing confident, compassionate and creative future leaders.
The event highlighted the essence of विश्वं दीप्यमानम् — a reminder that even a spark of wisdom can brighten the world. Performances throughout the evening depicted global harmony, cultural vibrancy, environmental awareness, technological progress, empathy, and patriotism, resonating strongly with the theme of a brighter world.
Dignitaries Grace the Occasion
The event was attended by eminent guests including Mahima Madan (IAS), CEO JAKEGA as the Chief Guest. Pallavi Mishra (IAS), SDM Marh and Archana Mishra (Educationist) were Guests of Honour, while Raman Gupta (Managing Director, Krishna Group of Companies and Pans & Pots), Rajesh Rathore (Principal, JK Public School) and Col. Sumit attended as special invitees.

The ceremony began with lamp lighting, followed by a green welcome through sapling presentation. A warm welcome was delivered by Vikrant (Special Child) and Komal (Asst Coordinator, Sr. Primary Wing), setting a thoughtful tone for the evening.

The Annual Report of the Primary Wing was presented by Pooja Sharma Wazir (Coordinator Sr. Pry Wing), highlighting achievements and initiatives rooted in the school’s educational philosophy.
Leadership Speaks
Rohini Aima (Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson) praised the students for their powerful performances. “विश्वं दीप्यमानम् inspires every child to be a beacon of light — spreading positivity, knowledge and humanity,” she said.
Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairperson), Sunakshi Anand (Director Operations, JSS Jammu), Harleen Anand (Director Operations, JSS Kathua), Avneet Kour Budhraja (Vice-Principal), Tarmeet Kour Raina (Administrative Officer) and other dignitaries graced the celebration.
The Chief Guest and Guests of Honour appreciated the school for a meaningful and well-coordinated event, applauding the discipline, creativity and thematic execution. Students were also felicitated for excellence in academics, sports and co-curricular achievements, including inter-school competitions.
The programme concluded with a vibrant grand finale featuring Rajasthani, Manipuri and Punjabi dance performances, followed by a vote of thanks from Bhawna (Headmistress–Primary Wing).
