UDHAMPUR: Additional Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Prem Singh today chaired a meeting of the District Level Telecom Committee to review the status of telecom infrastructure, installation of mobile towers and other key telecom-related issues across the district.
The ADC reviewed major telecom and digital infrastructure initiatives, including the BharatNet Project and the 4G Saturation Programme, aimed at strengthening digital connectivity.
The ADC directed all stakeholder departments to work closely with telecom operators for prompt resolution of pending issues and timely execution of telecom projects and instructed all departments concerned and implementing agencies to expedite ongoing initiatives so that enhanced digital connectivity reaches every corner of Udhampur within the stipulated timeframe.
