JAMMU: A team from Police Post Sarwal, led by Incharge SI Sunil Singh, arrested four persons, including Rajeev Tikoo, after they were found roaming suspiciously with sharp-edged weapons in the Bakshi Nagar area on Saturday.
Police said the action was taken following specific information, after which the team swiftly reached the spot and caught the accused red-handed. The sharp-edged weapons recovered from them have also been seized.
The accused are wanted in connection with FIR No. 148/2025 under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act, registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
Officials said that timely action by the police prevented a possible untoward incident. The swift response has been widely appreciated by the local public.
