NEW DELHI: The Splendor of Kashmir, founded by textile designer and entrepreneur Varuna Anand, has received the Excellence in Business Innovation Award at the Global Leadership Summit 2026, held at ITC Welcom Hotel, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The award was received by Anahita Anand on behalf of the brand, recognising its contribution to the luxury Pashmina segment through traditional Kashmiri craftsmanship, design excellence and the preservation of the region’s rich textile heritage.
The award was presented by Major General Vikram Dev Dogra (Retd.), AVSM, former General Officer Commanding of a Strike Division and CEO of World Games, alongside Bollywood actor Mukesh Tyagi.
Organised by Global Triumph Foundation and The Business Ascent, led by Monika Jain and Amit Jain, the summit brought together leaders and achievers from across the country to discuss emerging challenges across sectors and recognise individuals and organisations driving innovation, leadership and progress.
Founded by Varuna Anand, The Splendor of Kashmir has established a presence in the luxury textile market through its curated collections of handcrafted Pashmina shawls. The brand combines Kashmir’s centuries-old artisanal traditions with contemporary design sensibilities, with a focus on quality, authenticity and timeless elegance.
The recognition marks another milestone for the brand as it continues to promote traditional Kashmiri craftsmanship while strengthening its identity in India’s luxury heritage market.
