KATHUA: As part of the ongoing Har Ghar Tiranga–Vande Mataram campaign, a series of activities were organised at different locations across Kathua district, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, officials, employees and the general public.
Mass recitation of Vande Mataram and other activities were organised at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, with Additional Deputy Commissioner attending the event as the Chief Guest.
Students and staff participated enthusiastically in activities aimed at promoting patriotism, national pride and the spirit of unity.
The Government Degree College and the office of Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) Billawar also organised mass recitation of Vande Mataram. Additional Deputy Commissioner was the Chief Guest. The participants joined in the collective rendition, reaffirming their commitment to the nation and the ideals of unity and national integration.
Meanwhile, Swachhta drives were conducted at various locations, including Sub-Division Hiranagar and Municipal Committee Billawar, with officials and staff participating in cleanliness activities and spreading awareness about cleanliness, sanitation and responsible waste management.
Similar Swachhta and awareness activities were also carried out in Bani and Basohli. The campaigns focused on cleaning public spaces and encouraging community participation in cleanliness and civic activities.
