RAMBAN: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Gool Imtiaz today chaired a meeting to review the preparations for the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign in the Sub-Division.
Events planned at Sub Division level include Mega Tiranga Rally at Sub Division Headquarter on August 12, Tiranga Bike Rally at Sangaldan on August 13 and Auto Tiranga Rally on August 14, 2026.
The SDM directed all concerned departments to ensure wide public participation and make the campaign a grand success with patriotic fervor. He stressed that the objective of the campaign is to instill a sense of national pride and unity among citizens by encouraging every household to hoist the National Flag.
The SDM instructed the Rural Development Department (RDD) and Panchayat Secretaries to mobilize people in rural areas and ensure distribution of National Flags to every household. He directed the Education Department to organize Tiranga Rallies, painting competitions, quiz competitions and special assemblies in all schools to spread awareness about the significance of the Tricolor among students.
The Information Department was tasked with extensive publicity of the campaign through social media, banners, posters and public address systems. The SDM asked the department to highlight stories of freedom fighters and patriotic songs during the campaign week.
The Power Development Department (PDD) was directed to illuminate all government buildings, important junctions and the main market area with tricolor lights during the campaign period.
The Police Department was instructed to make necessary security arrangements for Tiranga Rallies and flag hoisting events. The Health Department was asked to keep medical teams and ambulances on standby during major events.
Addressing the officers, SDM Gool said that “Har Ghar Tiranga” is not just a campaign but an emotion that connects every citizen with the nation. He urged all government employees, ExPRIs, NGOs and the general public to actively participate and upload selfies with the National Flag on the designated portal.
The meeting was attended by Principal GDC, Principal GHSS, SDPO, CDPO and other officers and representatives of all line departments.
