MUMBAI: Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), through Reliance Intelligence Limited, has announced a wide-ranging strategic partnership with Google to fast-track large-scale adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across India. The collaboration aims to empower consumers, enterprises, and developers—advancing Reliance’s “AI for All” vision and strengthening India’s digital growth.
This partnership combines Reliance’s massive digital footprint with Google’s cutting-edge AI technology to democratize access and expand India’s AI capabilities.
✅ Google AI Pro for Jio Users — Free for 18 Months
Google, in partnership with Reliance Intelligence, will roll out Google AI Pro—powered by the latest Gemini 2.5 Pro—to eligible Jio users at no cost for 18 months, a benefit worth ₹35,100 per user.
The offer includes:
- Access to Google’s most advanced Gemini model
- Higher limits for image & video generation via Nano Banana and Veo 3.1
- Extended access to Notebook LM for study & research
- 2 TB cloud storage and more
Activation will be simple through the MyJio app. The rollout will first offer early access to Jio users aged 18–25 on unlimited 5G plans, before expanding to all Jio customers nationwide.
The partnership will also explore bringing AI-powered local, cultural, and language-based features to users across India.
✅ Boosting India’s AI Ecosystem with Google Cloud TPUs
Reliance Intelligence also announced a partnership with Google Cloud to expand access to Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) in India—unlocking new capabilities for enterprises to train and deploy advanced AI models at scale.
This strengthens India’s national AI backbone and aligns with India’s ambition to emerge as a global AI powerhouse.
✅ Driving Enterprise AI with Gemini
Reliance Intelligence has been named a strategic go-to-market partner for Google Cloud in India to accelerate adoption of Gemini Enterprise—Google’s unified agentic AI platform that enables companies to create, deploy, and run AI agents across workflows.
Reliance will also offer pre-built enterprise AI agents within Gemini Enterprise, expanding choices for Indian businesses alongside Google and third-party developers.
