BARAMULLA: The Sub-Divisional Administration Sopore, in collaboration with Government Degree College (GDC) Dangiwacha, organised a one-day seminar on “Youth Leadership, Education, Equality, Awareness and Innovation” under the theme “Innovate Today, Lead Tomorrow.”
ADC Sopore, S.A. Raina, attended the programme as the Chief Guest, while Principal GDC Dangiwacha, Prof. Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray, was the Guest of Honour.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Sopore highlighted the importance of education, discipline and responsible citizenship, urging students to utilise educational opportunities effectively and develop leadership skills to contribute towards nation-building.
Addressing the gathering, Principal GDC Dangiwacha, Prof. Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray, stressed the role of educational institutions in nurturing intellectual curiosity, moral values, leadership qualities and innovation among students.
During the function, Programme Convener Dr. Nazrul Islam emphasised the importance of education, critical thinking and innovation in empowering youth to become active agents of positive social change. He encouraged students to embrace creativity, promote equality and contribute meaningfully to society.
The seminar featured discussions on youth leadership, inclusive education, gender equality, awareness and educational excellence.
