KULGAM: Kulgam Police conducted a counter-terrorism mock drill at Aharbal to assess operational preparedness and coordination among security agencies in a simulated security scenario.
The exercise was conducted under the supervision of SSP Kulgam and led by DySP Operations, Manzgam. Personnel from Manzgam Police Station, the Special Operations Group (SOG), Markhor Manzgam and the CRPF’s 18th Battalion participated in the drill.
The exercise focused on evaluating the ability of security personnel to respond swiftly and effectively to potential threats, while strengthening communication and coordination among participating agencies during emergencies.
Kulgam Police reiterated its commitment to ensuring the safety of tourists and the general public, particularly at important tourist destinations across the district.
