JAMMU: Jodhamal Public School felicitated its budding writers in a special ceremony organised on the school campus to celebrate their literary accomplishments under the Young Authors Programme.
The innovative initiative encourages students to explore the art of storytelling, guiding them through the entire process of writing, editing, and publishing their own books. In the past two years, more than 300 students of the school have authored books, many of which have been published and are available for purchase online.
The authors were mentored by literary coach Deepika Ibikunle.
This year, 144 students from Grades V to IX were honoured for their remarkable performance in the BriBooks Summer Writing Festival, the world’s largest book-writing festival. Their creativity and storytelling drew widespread appreciation.
The ceremony was attended by Trustee Nandan Kuthiala, Director Aarti Kuthiala, Principal Dr. Deep Khare, and Vice Principal Amita Arora, who lauded the young writers for their dedication and talent. They also encouraged students to continue pursuing creativity on national and international platforms.
The felicitation marked a proud milestone for Jodhamal Public School, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing innovation, excellence, and holistic education among its students.
