JAMMU: The Junior Wing of Jodhamal Public School celebrated its Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 with grandeur and solemnity, marking the formal induction of the Prefectorial Council.
The event showcased the school’s vision of nurturing leadership, instilling responsibility, and fostering the spirit of service among its young learners.
The programme commenced with the welcoming of the Chief Guest, Lt. Col. Smita Sanglodkar, who was presented with saplings – a symbol of growth and sustainability. The lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a melodious performance by the Junior Choir set the tone for the occasion.
Principal Dr. Deep Khare extended a warm welcome, reminding the students that true leadership must always be rooted in discipline, honesty, and teamwork.
The highlight of the event was the badging ceremony, where the newly elected council members donned their sashes and badges, taking the oath of office administered by the Principal.

Addressing the gathering, Lt. Col. Smita Sanglodkar shared her inspiring journey of determination, discipline, and service, motivating the young leaders to lead with courage and sincerity. The flag presentation, speeches by the newly elected Junior Head Girl and Head Boy, and a group photograph reflected enthusiasm and confidence.
A memento was presented to the Chief Guest as a token of gratitude. School Trustee Nandan Kuthiala and Director Arati Kuthiala congratulated the council members, urging them to lead with humility and responsibility.
Vice Principal Amita Arora proposed the vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of CCA Coordinator Deepali Puri and the school staff for the smooth conduct of the ceremony.
The ceremony concluded on a high note, with a shared belief that the newly inducted leaders will shine as torchbearers of integrity, discipline, and excellence.
