SRINAGAR: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, has extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid-i-Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
In his message, the Minister said that the blessed occasion provides an opportunity to reflect upon the noble teachings and exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and to seek the blessings and mercy of the Almighty for peace, prosperity and the well-being of all humanity.
Javed Rana said that the teachings of the Prophet (SAW) emphasise peace, compassion, brotherhood, kindness, humility and mutual respect, which hold universal relevance and should guide our conduct in everyday life.
He expressed hope that the auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony, brotherhood and mutual coexistence among all sections of society and inspire people to work collectively for a peaceful, progressive and prosperous Jammu and Kashmir.
