NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Home Affairs has posted Danesh Rana, IPS (AGMUT: 1996) to the Jammu and Kashmir segment of the Joint AGMUT cadre following his repatriation from Central Deputation.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the posting will remain in effect until further orders.
The order, dated September 1, 2026, was issued with the approval of the competent authority.
Copies of the order have been forwarded to the Chief Secretary and Director General of Police, Jammu and Kashmir, among other concerned authorities.
