JAMMU: The Jammu Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) organised a Career Awareness Programme on “Career as a Company Secretary” at J P World School, Jammu, for senior secondary students.
More than 100 students participated in the programme, which aimed to familiarise them with the Company Secretary profession and the opportunities available in the field.
CS Seema Sehgal, keynote speaker, briefed the students about the structure of the CS course, career progression, practical training requirements and various professional opportunities available after qualifying.
The session was followed by an interactive discussion during which students raised queries related to the course and career prospects.
Sudip Kumar Mishra, Chapter-In-charge, Jammu Chapter of ICSI, accompanied the keynote speaker during the programme.
The Jammu Chapter expressed appreciation to Principal Aparana Kohli, the school counsellor and the management of J P World School for their cooperation and support in conducting the programme.
The Chapter also reaffirmed its commitment to promoting career awareness and professional outreach among students across the region.
