JAMMU: As a curtain raiser to the much-awaited FICCI FLO JKL Half Marathon 3.0 – RUN4HEALTH, a spirited promotional run was held on Sunday at Gulshan Ground, Jammu.
The main marathon, scheduled for October 5, 2025, aims to unite fitness enthusiasts, professionals, and the community in the fight against drug abuse.
The promo run witnessed enthusiastic participation, generating momentum and awareness ahead of the event. Representing FICCI FLO JKL were Varuna Anand, Rupika Sahai, Sona Mehta, Nandita Bajaj, and Shipra Aggarwal, joined by Race Director Sudhir Anand and Event Director Kanupriya Garg.
The upcoming marathon will feature four race categories – 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km – encouraging runners of all age groups and fitness levels to participate.
With the powerful theme “Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life,” the initiative is dedicated to spreading awareness on drug abuse. All proceeds from the marathon will be donated to the Drug Rehabilitation Center run by the J&K Police, ensuring direct community impact.
The official Bib Expo will be held on October 4, 2025, at Gulshan Ground, Jammu, from 11:30 a.m. onwards, where participants can collect their bibs and prepare for race day.
The promo run successfully set the tone for RUN4HEALTH 2025, aiming to inspire healthier lifestyles while reinforcing the collective resolve to combat the menace of drugs.
