LEH: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) celebrated its 75th Foundation Day on February 24, 2026, commemorating its legacy of providing social security and healthcare services since 1948.
Nationwide programmes were organised to mark the milestone, including a special outreach initiative in Leh.
As part of the celebrations, the DCBO Leh team organised a community health check-up camp at Charmwood Hotel, continuing ESIC’s tradition of promoting accessible healthcare in remote regions. A total of 35 patients underwent health screenings during the camp.
Dr. Saurabh Sadhotra, Chief Medical Officer, DCBO Leh, was among the key attendees. Harish Puri, Partner, and Sarthak Puri, Managing Director of Charmwood Hotel, also participated in the event, along with Susheel, Vikas, and staff members from ESIC DCBO Leh and Charmwood Hotel.
The initiative underscores ESIC’s sustained commitment to strengthening healthcare outreach and community welfare, particularly in far-flung areas like Leh.
