JAMMU: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office Jammu, on Thursday organised Nidhi Aapke Nikat (NAN) 2.0 at KC Education Society, Jammu, with the Employees’ Enrolment Campaign 2026 (EEC 2026) emerging as the main focus of the outreach programme.
The programme was presided over by Devinder Singh, Enforcement Officer, along with Bal Krishan, Enforcement Officer. The officers stressed the need for regular engagement between EPFO, employers and employees to ensure timely compliance, improve service delivery and help eligible workers access social security benefits.
EPFO urged establishments to make use of the Employees’ Enrolment Campaign 2026 to extend social security coverage to employees who are presently outside the EPF system.
The campaign is aimed at encouraging voluntary compliance by employers and extending the benefits of provident fund, pension and insurance to eligible workers. The scheme will remain open till October 31, 2026.
Participants were also sensitised about the VISHWAS Scheme, introduced by EPFO as a special initiative for the amicable and time-bound resolution of pending damages cases under Section 14B of the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952, or Section 128 of the Code on Social Security, 2020.
The programme also highlighted major government initiatives aimed at employment generation, workforce formalisation and labour welfare.
These included the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana, aimed at promoting employment, employability and formalisation, as well as the Four Labour Codes, which seek to streamline and modernise the labour-law framework while strengthening provisions relating to wages, workplace safety, working conditions and social security.
The interactive session provided participants an opportunity to raise queries related to EPFO services, pension matters and online facilities.
EPFO officers resolved grievances on the spot and guided stakeholders on the effective use of the organisation’s digital services.
Senior representatives from KC Education Society, including Mohit Uppal, System Administrator, along with other officials and employees, participated in the programme and appreciated the awareness initiatives undertaken by EPFO.
