UDHAMPUR: The Mentoring and Monitoring Committee of District Legal Services Authority Udhampur met today in the Conference Hall District Court Complex under the direction of Chairman (Pr. District & Sessions Judge) Kalpana Revo.
The meeting was chaired by Secretary DLSA Sumati Sharma. The Committee took stock of the Panel Lawyers’ performance over the past year, with focus on their achievements, the challenges they face and the overall quality of legal services rendered.
The Secretary DLSA actively inquired about any difficulties being faced by the Panel Lawyers related to court facilities, administrative support or other requirements. She listened carefully to the issues projected by Panel Lawyers and assured that their needs would be met. Some concerns were addressed on the spot.
In addition, the Secretary DLSA reminded the Panel Lawyers about their pending liabilities and urged them to promptly update their case details on the LACMS Portal to ensure transparency and better monitoring of legal aid cases.
The meeting concluded with encouraging directions for the Panel Lawyers to continue their good work, maintain high standards of legal aid services and swiftly address any issues that may arise in the future.
