UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today convened a meeting to review the progress of farmers’ registration and data updation under AgriStack, besides the implementation of the digital crop survey in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr Umesh Shan all Sub-Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars.
While reviewing the progress, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure maximum coverage of eligible farmers under the AgriStack registration process. He instructed the Tehsildars to organise farmer registration camps in identified villages to accelerate the process and facilitate maximum registrations.
The DC stressed the importance of proper verification of records and accuracy of data being entered on the AgriStack platform. He further emphasised the need for close coordination among all stakeholders to ensure the smooth, effective and timely implementation of the Digital Crop Survey across the district.
