REASI: In a decisive step against the drug menace, District Police Reasi has taken strong action against the illegal sale of psychotropic substances on the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Track. NEW DELHI: The Union Home Ministry (MHA) has cancelled the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) licence of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk’s NGO, the Students Educational and Cultural Movement of Ladakh (SECMOL), with immediate effect. The decision follows a preliminary inquiry by the CBI into alleged violations of the FCRA by Wangchuk and the institution he founded. JAMMU: The Railways Department has announced plans to extend the Vande Bharat Express, currently operating between Katra and Srinagar, to originate from Jammu. Confirming the development, Divisional Railway Manager Jammu, Vivek Kumar, said preparations are in full swing to facilitate the expansion of the semi-high-speed service.
