JAMMU: Continuing its intensified crackdown against bovine smuggling under Operation Kamdhenu, Jammu (Rural) Police foiled two bovine smuggling attempts in the jurisdiction of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli. Acting on specific inputs, police teams intercepted two vehicles at different locations in the area. During checking, 10 bovine animals were found being transported illegally without valid permission. The seized vehicles include JK19A-1567, carrying four bovines, and JK19A-2998, carrying six bovines.
