JAMMU: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has reappointed Dr. Minu Mahajan as Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination for a further period of two years. KABUL: A devastating airstrike in Kabul has left hundreds dead, with Afghan authorities claiming the death toll has risen to nearly 400, marking one of the deadliest incidents in the region in recent years. JAMMU: More than 1.60 lakh voters have been added to the electoral rolls in Jammu and Kashmir during the recent Special Summary Revision (SSR) exercise, while 67,690 names were deleted and 2.29 lakh entries were corrected, according to official data. The figures revealed that Jammu district recorded the highest number of deletions, including duplicate and shifted entries, during the annual revision process. District-wise data showed that Jammu district currently has the highest number of electors at 11,89,555, followed by Srinagar district with 7,53,222 voters and Baramulla district with 7,20,500 voters.
