KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Pankaj Kumar Sharma today disbursed ₹4.7 lakh as compensation under the J&K Road Accident Victim Fund, based on cases submitted by ARTO Kishtwar Tasleem Wani. ₹1 lakh was disbursed to the legal heir of the deceased, ₹75,000 each to two permanently disabled victims, ₹50,000 each to four grievously injured victims and ₹10,000 each to two victims with minor injuries. JAMMU: A Special Lok Adalat for cases under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 was organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Jammu, under the guidance of Principal District & Sessions Judge/Chairman, DLSA Jammu Ravinder Nath Watal and the supervision of Civil Judge (Senior Division)/Secretary, DLSA Jammu Maleeka Sharma, at District Court Complex, Jammu.
