UDHAMPUR: The Special Lok Adalat for cases under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act was held today in Udhampur district under the chairmanship of Principal District and Sessions Judge/Chairperson, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Udhampur Kalpana Revo and Sub-Judge/Secretary, DLSA Udhampur Sumati Sharma. The Special Lok Adalat aims to resolve cheque-bounce disputes through compromise and settlement instead of prolonged litigation.
