JAMMU: A tragic road accident in Bhaderwah area of Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir claimed the lives of a head constable of the Jammu and Kashmir Police and his wife, while their two children were injured.
According to officials, an Alto car lost control near Basti village and rolled into a river. In the accident, Head Constable Zulfikar Ali and his wife died on the spot.
The constable was reportedly on his way to duty when the incident occurred.
Their two children sustained injuries in the accident and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and further investigation is underway.
